Accessories and Functions:

- Electric water heater, window, side man-door and patio doors (provide access and light when are open)

- Full bath with toilet flange extending below the structural floor. All of the DWV system is in place and would need to be connected to a
septic system or similar.

- A composting toilet can be installed above the flange and the other drains could run into a grey water system.

- Functioning kitchen (i.e. comes with a counter top, cabinetry, sink drains as well as space and wiring for an under counter fridge)


Notable:

- There is no natural gas or propane appliances in the unit

- Asset must be moved and transported as a whole (single) unit.

- The sea container's pickup points are still accessible for pick-up/transport

- Applicable building permits are bidder’s responsibility


The Bidder (or sub-contractor/firm being used to remove the asset) must have valid WSIB and a Certificate of Insurance that will need
to be provided to the College prior to
removing the asset. If applicable; all pertinent information regarding the moving (sub-contractor) company to be employed must be
provided to the College on the attached
form prior to removal of the sea container.

The College will be conducting an optional Site Visit for potential bidders on Wednesday, February 10,
2021 between 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM.

If a Bidder is interested in attending the Site Visit, they must register by emailing the asset contact with
their preferred time NO LATER than 3:00 PM local time
on February 5, 2021. Email coferland@niagaracollege.ca to register.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, only one (1) group with a maximum of two (2) attendees per group will be
able to view the asset at one time.
Therefore, Site Visit bookings shall be on the hour or half-hour between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM.

All attendees will be sent an Access Form to complete prior to the Site Visit.
All attendees shall wear a facemask and any other required safety or personal protective equipment (PPE) required by Health Canada
or Niagara Region Public Health
department.
All Attendees will be required to sign-in at the Front/Main Entrance located within the AHI Building at Niagara College's Welland
campus.
