The Don Nearhood Museum Collection was handcrafted by Don Nearhood, a resident of Buick, BC. It is made up of three miniature collections; a logging collection, an agricultural collection, and other historical pioneer era replicas. In 1996, the Peace River Regional District purchased the Don Nearhood Museum Collection and stored it for visitor display at the Peace Canyon Visitor Centre. Don Nearhood wrote comprehensive narratives to convey his vision and replicate experiences of the past. His narratives are included in the media section.
